Was anyone else ready for fall by the middle of August? I’ve never gone all out on fall home decor before but something about being stuck at home for the last 6+ months has made me so ready for a fall home refresh! I’m also hosting Thanksgiving this year for the first time ever, which has made me even more excited to decorate!
This year I got started early and picked up some amazing, affordable fall home decor pieces to transform my home for the new season! All of these pieces are under $20 and can be used over and over again through the years.

Cozy Throw Blankets
Blankets are such a quick and easy (and cozy!) way to completely change the feel of a room! We usually have a chunky pink blanket on the couch and switching it out with this pretty burnt orange one instantly warmed up the space! I also grabbed this striped blanket to throw over our blanket ladder. I love this throw because it can easily transition into winter and even spring! *Pro-tip: There’s only one stripe so you could even turn it to the creamy side as the seasons change!
Autumn Florals
I love me some (fake) fall florals! This is another cheap way to warm up a space. I have florals and/or greenery in nearly every room in the house and I had so much fun switching out all my summer florals for fall! I picked mine up at home goods (they had tons of great bundles under $12!) But here are a few options that will give you a similar look.
Fall Candles
Can we all agree that fall is the best season for scented candles?? Target absolutely killed the candle game this year. These two scents – vanilla pumpkin and pumpkin spice – are to. die. for. I haven’t even lit them yet and they are already smelling up the house! The best part? They’re only $10 for a three-wick candle!! And I love that the jars don’t have any labels on them and can easily be repurposed once the candles are done. These are a major Target win – I’ll definitely be stocking up before they sell out!
Pumpkins
Even though I’m not usually big on crazy fall home decor, I’ve been debating picking up a few of these neutral pumpkins to sprinkle around the house. Should I go for it? Knowing I’ll be hosting Thanksgiving has me wanting to decorate every surface of the house but I’m trying to be reasonable here!
What are your favorite fall decor pieces? Let me know what I’m missing!
